In partnership with South Tyneside Council, South Tyneside Homes provide a Housing and Area Management service. Through the integration of housing management, community safety, cleansing and estate management services we provide a tenure blind service that focuses on improving the appearance of the borough and the services that are provided to residents.

We are looking for an experienced professional to undertake the role of Area Manager. The role is to lead a multidiscipline team to deliver a tenure blind service to the community. You will work with Elected and Board members, communities, colleagues and partners to deliver outstanding, pro-active and responsive housing and area management services. This is a pivotal role in our approach to providing borough wide services that meet the aspirations of our residents.

You should have experience of working in an area management, community safety, tenancy service and/or social housing environment at a senior management level and have experience of multi-agency working. You should also possess excellent communication skills, extensive experience of managing change and leading diverse teams to deliver excellent services. Please note that you may be asked to lead on a particular aspect of the service.
