Further information

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, self-motivated and skilled Clerical Assistant to join the busy administration team at our friendly school. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required together with a calm, positive and professional approach. The successful applicant will be well organised, proactive and resilient. The role will include providing a wide and varied range of clerical, administrative and organisational support to the school.

You must have excellent interpersonal skills along with a good sense of humour and an ability to maintain confidentiality.

Applicants should be computer literate (Microsoft Office) and previous experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage. The environment is diverse and fast-changing so the ability to prioritise and work under pressure is essential, as well as maintaining discretion when dealing with confidential matters. The successful candidate will be a team player who will be able to work successfully on their own, demonstrating true initiative and experience of working in a school. Using SIMS would be a distinct advantage, although is not essential as training will be given for this varied and busy post.

If successful you will need to apply for an enhanced Disclosure.

This position may require a declaration under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2009, including Disqualification by Association.
