North Tyneside Council is looking for a brilliant communicator to join our busy Communications and Marketing Team. A candidate who can communicate to a wide-ranging audience, from refuse collectors to social workers, lifeguards to lawyers, residents and businesses, we are looking for someone who can speak to them all.

The successful candidate will have a track record of delivering top quality project communications and campaigns, working closely with teams from across the Council to tell them about changes, challenges and outcomes in a clear, timely and concise way.

The role will support everything that the Communications and Marketing team does, including dealing with press releases, delivering creative marketing campaigns, digital communications and social media management.

You will have the opportunity to revamp how internal communications is delivered by the Council, using recent team survey results and insights to shape and implement a new strategy along with innovative new platforms such as the People System and intranet to modernise internal communications.
