Over 92% of our Apprentices go on to either a higher level apprenticeships or full time work.
As a council our ambition is to provide 400 apprenticeships by 2020.

Apprenticeships are an excellent option for all ages. They provide people with the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge while working towards achieving nationally recognised qualifications. They aren’t just for young people either - they also suit adults who may be out of work or looking for a career change.

Across Northumberland County Council apprentices were welcomed across a whole family of services and including Business Admin, Construction Operations, Support Teaching and Learning, IT Application Specialist, Children and Young Persons Workforce, Decorative Finishing and Industrial Painting, Adult Social Care, Management, Early Years Educator, Customer Services, Horticulture, Leisure Operations, Professional Cookery and Local Environmental Services.

2. Add information to your Talent Profile about your skills, experience and work history - www.northeastjobs.org.uk/myaccount/mytalentprofile

3. Select the Northumberland Apprenticeship Pool from the list of talent pools you wish to be a member of.

You will then be included in the list of registered users of our Talent Pool and we can alert you about suitable vacancies when they arise.
