learningSkills are advertising for 2 Vocational Development Officers to work in the Vocational learning team delivering apprenticeships in both existing frameworks and new standards. It is essential that you have knowledge of and commitment to anti - discriminatory practices, current teaching and assessment practices and subject expertise in one or more of the following areas: Business Administration, Customer Service, Team leading, Management, ICT, Retail, Health and Social Care and Hospitality. You must be wholly familiar with apprenticeship frameworks, OSFTED, QCA and awarding body criteria. The successful candidate will hold a level 5 teaching qualification, must have occupational competence in the area of delivery and have a current driving licence and use of a car. It is essential that you have experience of successful apprenticeship delivery including assessment, teaching adults and young people, using educational frameworks in a range of vocational settings and administrative skills required to successfully deliver vocational learning programmes. Candidates should be able to act on their own initiative, work in outreach locations and with colleagues as part of a team as well as relate to young people and adults in a range of settings.
