Maternity Cover Temporary until 31/08/2017 or until the return of the substantive post holder.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer focussed person to join our team at the Gala Theatre in Durham City to manage the smooth running of the Box Office and to act as the main point of contact between the Arts Programming Team and visiting theatre companies.

Working as part of a dedicated team, the successful candidate will ensure that an efficient and effective Box Office service is available to all of our customers.

Liaising with external partners, front of house staff and technical teams are key elements of the role as well as overseeing the day to day operation of the Box Office and staff to ensure that our customer’s expectations are met.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of working in a theatre Box Office and proven experience and a commitment to the principles of customer care.

• Required Qualifications: 2 A levels ; NVQ 3 or equivalent
