We are seeking a catering assistant to join us as soon as possible to work in Acklington C of E First School. You will assist in the preparation for and in the service of meals and refreshments and undertake associated kitchen duties.
No specific knowledge and experience is required but, if not already possessed, the Basic Food Hygiene Certificates must be achieved within, ideally, six months of commencement.
You will have basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Successful applicants will receive the Northumberland Living Wage Supplement in addition to their basic salary.
This post is a fixed term contract until Wednesday 20 July 2016, pending the planned review of the staffing structure which may result in staffing changes. Monday – Friday 11.30am – 1.00pm.
