A permanent Technical Officer post is available within the Home Improvement Service of Northumberland County Council.
The role will require the ability to carry out technical surveys, produce detailed specifications and assess fair cost of works & ensure contractors are compliant with health & safety.
You would be expected to advise and assist elderly and disabled service users and families of disabled children to undertake improvements and adaptations to their homes with specific responsibility for giving technical support.
In particular you will be required to assist in the delivery of disabled facilities grants across the county of Northumberland.
