Brambles Primary Academy and Pennyman Primary Academy, who are part of Tees Valley Education Trust, were chosen to help train the next generation of teachers and were awarded the status of National Teaching School in March 2016. Along with our strategic partners, they formed: Tees Valley Education Teaching School Alliance.
The Tees Valley Education Trust motto is ‘We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit’ and the new Tees Valley Education Teaching School Alliance is another way of delivering that both to our Trust and to the rest of the education sector, in partnership with Middlesbrough and other Teaching School Alliances across the region.
We are therefore seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced administrator to play a significant role in supporting the work of the Teaching School, reporting directly to the Heads of the Teaching School. Ideally you will have experience of working in an administrative role, be proactive and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with strong organisational and administrative abilities.
This is an exciting developmental role which will support our Teaching School Alliance, shaping the future of professional development and school improvement. Consequently, there is a high degree of flexibility in the days worked each week, which will depend completely on the operational requirements of the Teaching School. Aspects of the job description are also likely to evolve as our Teaching School becomes further established, and therefore adaptability is another key personal requirement.
You will find above the job description, person specification an application form for the post. If you wish to apply, then please make sure that you complete a letter of application, showing how you demonstrate all the characteristics in the job description, person specification and why you are suitable for the post.
