We are looking for a teaching assistant who has experience and a good understanding of working with young children who have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Conditions. This member of staff must also be familiar with using Makaton and be able to use Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) as they will be supporting a child who has been using these methods of communication effectively both in school and at home.
We would also like them to be a strong team player, with the ability to work cooperatively with school staff and other professionals involved.
We will provide the successful candidate with good career development opportunities and in school support.
The successful candidate will be working 1:1 each morning in our nursery.
