An outstanding primary school working with First Class Supply would like to appoint a Teaching Assistant to provide general support within the classroom. The position is specifically working with Foundation Stage pupils, on a full time basis to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the duration of the academic year.

The school provides outstanding teaching which allows the pupils to make excellent progress at the school. The pupils excellent behaviour in and around school helps them to get on very well with each other. The leaders of the school are passionate about the pupils and are knowledgeable and effective in securing improvement, which is the prime reason why the school is so successful. The quality of teaching is outstanding using a variety of strategies to engage the pupils. As just over half of the pupils on roll are on the autistic spectrum, specialist extra help is required to help the pupils with their work. achievement is good and improving.

Successful applicants will:

• Demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development
• Be pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable
• Have the ability to motivate and engage children
• Be able to work independently using your initiative
• Have a minimum of 6 months recent experience within a UK setting
• Hold a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant education or child care discipline.
