A middle school in rural Northumberland is currently looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a full time basis. The role will commence in ASAP and is expected to end in July 2017

This is a small and welcoming school with a caring environment which has recently been through a period of significant improvement. Senior leaders work very well together and lead the school very effectively, an extensive range of learning opportunities are available promoting a good standard of teaching across the school. Students’ behaviour is excellent with everyone treated as individuals and encouraged to succeed in different ways.

The successful candidate should:

Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in childcare
Have a minimum of 6 months recent experience
Be able to work independently, using your initiative
Are able to demonstrate resilience
Are able to demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development
Take direction to adapt and meet the needs of the team
Be pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable
