Required for January 2015, a teacher with the ability to teach a range of Core Subject areas, in particular English and possibly Physical Education. The person appointed will be joining a strong team of committed and mutually supportive staff operating in the Student Support Centre, Hartlepool PRU.
The post would suit a teacher wishing to extend their experience in our successful environment. There is a strong commitment to continuous professional development.
Working primarily with KS4 pupils the successful candidate must have experience of teaching accredited courses, empathy for working with disaffected young people and a determination to see them succeed.
Knowledge of a range of software suitable for a variety of age ranges would be an advantage, as would a willingness to develop personal skills particularly in the use of the virtual classroom or a regular classroom within our Unit.
