You will be based at Direct Services Offices at Meadowfield and will work at any council workplace within County Durham and Newcastle as directed.

Responsible for the day to day delivery of hoist, stair lift, servicing and maintenance, across all of the contract areas (including Newcastle City).
Assisting in demonstrating value for money, a high level of customer focus and ensuring that the installations comply with all relevant legislation.

Working for the Lifts Foreman the post holder will work to targets set in relation to time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

Accredited Lift Engineering apprenticeship (NVQ Level 2) stair lift and hoist repairs & maintenance.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held on Thursday 3rd November 2016.

Due to the requirement to drive a County Council vehicle in this role, appointment will be subject to the production of a valid driving licence for the required category of vehicle and the satisfactory completion of an in-house Driver Induction Assessment.
