Greenfield Community College wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Sports Facility Manager to manage the out of school hours sports facilities and develop the community sports programme. The successful candidate will have the personal attributes and skills to maximise community engagement, deliver coaching sessions to young people and develop further the current business model.

The unsociable hours from 8.00 pm and at weekends are paid at an enhanced rate. Any additional coaching sessions are paid at Grade 4 (SCP 15-19) £8.69 to £9.62 per hour.

Please note that this position is whole time, which means that you will be in attendance at work all year round (52 weeks a year) and will have an annual leave entitlement (26 days if you have less than 5 years’ continuous local government service, 31 days if you have in excess of 5 years’ continuous local government service; pro rata for part time), which must be taken during school closure periods. During periods of school closure outside of your annual leave entitlement, you are required to be in attendance at work.
