A vacancy has arisen for a qualified Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities Team and we would welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified Social Workers.
You will be joining a well established team within a supportive and innovative department, receiving regular supervision, support, training and development. It is essential you hold a professional qualification e.g. DipSW, CQSW, BA SW, a recognised equivalent, with experience of working with children or young people.
Middlesbrough Council supports newly qualified social workers through the newly qualified social worker scheme ASYE and then through the transition to early professional development.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate they are registered, or have applied to register with the HCPC.
