South Tyneside is looking to recruit experienced social workers into our Contact and Referral Team, Supporting and Strengthening Families Team and Integrated Looked after Children Team. Working in South Tyneside has never been more exciting and rewarding, as we continue to invest in training and development, quality practices and management whilst ensuring that we offer high quality supervision and child centred practice.

We are looking for Social Work Professionals who have post qualifying experience. Depending on which team you choose you will have experience of working in duty work and completing child protection enquiries and/or completing high quality assessments and care planning within the child protection/court arena or in permanence planning and/or working with children and young people who are looked after.

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic professionals who are committed to improving outcomes for children and their families through the provision of high quality social work support.
