First Class Supply are looking for experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties throughout Key Stage 3 and 4.

The school has been graded outstanding and the teaching is extremely well-planned and consists of exciting activities to engage the students in their learning. The students within the school achieve outstandingly well in their English. The leaders within the school, including the Headteacher, are very ambitious and strive for the highest achievement for their students.

Some of the aims of the school are to develop lifelong learning, widen aspirations, empower families, maximise independence, nurture values of respect and friendship and extend creativity.

To be successful in the role you will have gained experience with pupils who have profound multiple learning difficulties.

In addition you will need to:
  • Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in childcare
  • Have a minimum of 6 months recent experience
  • Be committed to making a real difference to the lives of pupils
  • Be able to work independently, using your initiative
  • Take direction to adapt and meet the needs of the team
  • Be pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable
