A special needs partner school in Newcastle upon Tyne has a current vacancy for an experienced SEND Teacher to work with pupils with Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties throughout Key Stage 3 and 4.

The school has been graded outstanding and teaching is extremely well-planned and consists of exciting activities to engage the students in their learning. The students within the school achieve outstandingly well in their English. The leaders within the school, including the Headteacher, are very ambitious and strive for the highest achievement for their students.

To be successful in the role you will have gained experience with pupils who have profound multiple learning difficulties.

In addition you will need to:
  • Be committed to making a real difference to the lives of pupils
  • Have a minimum of 6 months recent experience
  • Be able to work independently, using your initiative
  • Take direction to adapt and meet the needs of the team
  • Be pro-active, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable
