A partner school to First Class Supply, based in Newcastle, would like to appoint a Romanian speaking teacher, with experience working across the Key stage 2 curriculum. The post is to commence in October 2016. The position will be on a part time basis for a minimum of 1 term.
This is a vibrant, modern school which is much larger than an average primary school. It serves a diverse population comprising a wide range of ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds. A high proportion of families are transient or temporary residents and this is reflected in the very high instances of mobility of pupils. Over 80% of pupils speak English as an additional language. The school benefits from excellent leadership, teaching takes place in an open plan environment and pupils make good progress.

• have an exceptional work ethic and a proven record of exemplary classroom practice
• hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
• Romanian linguistic skills
• have a recent, comprehensive understanding of the Key Stage 2 UK curriculum and assessment.
