We are seeking to appoint a Placement Officer to work within the Family Placement Service. The post entails working alongside social care staff to identify fostering and residential placements for children and young people. Once placements are identified then the Placement Officer works closely with the child or young person’s social worker to ensure that placements match the child’s need. The role involves working closely with providers regarding the contracts and financial arrangements for placements.
