The Headteachers of our cluster schools are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic part time
Parent Support Adviser, to work within our Consett cluster. Applications are invited to undertake direct work with the parents or carers in a non-judgmental way empowering them and their families to get the most out of the educational opportunities available.
Initially, the cluster will award a one year fixed term contract, for the period 1st September 2017 to 31st August 2018, reviewable thereafter subject to the continuation of funding. In addition, it is hoped that the successful candidate will be able to commence during the summer term of this academic year.
The cluster will provide:
• excellent care and support for all staff;
• comprehensive induction and ongoing opportunities for professional development;
• positive and stimulating school climates that value the contribution of all staff.
