A secondary school in Northumberland is working with First Class Supply to appoint a Lont-Term PE Teacher to start ASAP. The position is on a part-time basis (3 days per week), you will be teaching Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 pupils.

A thriving 13-18 community high school, it is larger than average and places great emphasis on building positive relationships in school, amongst the students themselves and between staff and students. This high achieving school has recently enjoyed outstanding GCSE and A Level results with attainment well above the national average. The school has been praised for its inclusive nature actively promoting positive values.

To be successful in this role you must:

  • be an enthusiastic and committed teacher with vision, drive and commitment
  • be proficient in planning, assessment and target setting so that all pupils make good progress
  • successfully contribute to high levels of pupil achievement
  • consistently teach inspirational and varied lessons
  • hold a relevant teaching qualification and QTS
  • have recent experience / knowledge of teaching PE at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 within the UK National Curriculum.
