An opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to work within the Occupational Therapy Service in Middlesbrough Social Care.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has excellent communication and organisational skills. They will need to be able to work as part of a team and on their own, frequently using own initiative.
They will work with a range of healthcare professionals and be involved with clients with a range of multiple medical, social and emotional problems. The role will at times include carrying out assessments with patients in their own homes, therefore, having access to transport is an essential part of this role.
Continuing professional development is actively encouraged and regular support and supervision will be provided by a Senior Occupational Therapist within the team. Participation in service developments and clinical governance is also expected, for which there is excellent support throughout the integrated Occupational Therapy service to help you develop.
The successful candidate must have current HCPC registration.
