The Governors at Langley Park Primary School are seeking to appoint a high quality, experienced nursery teacher to work with 2 – 5 year olds. The post commences immediately until 31st March 2017.
The successful candidate will become part of a committed team who have high expectations and demonstrate a caring attitude towards our children’s academic and pastoral development. Our pupils need a teacher who will take an interest in them as individuals and who wishes to ensure that they make excellent progress by making learning exciting and memorable.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate skills in the following areas:
Significant experience of working with children from 2-5 years.
• Up to date working knowledge of the EYFS Framework
• Evidence of exemplary classroom practice demonstrating a passionate commitment to both the academic and pastoral welfare of children
• Hold high expectations of pupils and a strong commitment to raising standards
• Be an inspiring teacher with a desire to make learning exciting, memorable and fun
• Have the enthusiasm and skills to deliver a creative curriculum
• A sense of humour and willingness to work as part of a team
• Have a commitment to the whole life of the school, including providing extra-curricular activities
• Flexibility
