First Class Supply are currently recruiting Nursery Nurses in and around the North Durham area (Houghton le Spring, Spennymoor & Bishop Auckland).

The work ranges from daily to ongoing assignments from as little as 4 hours per week up to 39 hours per week. This means we are able to provide you with a position that suits your lifestyle.

Duties will include providing play and learning opportunities for all children and to maintain a safe and stimulating fun environment as well as assisting senior centre staff with general nursery duties.

Skills required for these roles are:
  • Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 2 in a relevant child care qualification
  • 6 months recent experience (this can be either paid employment, voluntary or placement experience)
  • Ability to work with babies to age 5
  • Understanding of child development
  • A Flexible and adaptable approach to work
