Key Stage 2 Class Teacher (temporary to cover maternity leave)

The Head Teacher and Governors of Washingwell Community Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher to join our Key Stage 2 teaching team on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave from September 2017.

Graded Good, Ofsted February 2016: 'The warm buzz that permeates the
school, its positive ethos, helps pupils feel settled and welcome. The orderly environment is comforting and supports skills of independence. Pupils' conduct and attitudes to learning are a strength of the schools work.'

We are seeking to appoint a teacher who has an enthusiasm for learning, a track record of improving standards and the ability to engage all learners in all aspects of curriculum.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a proven track record of and commitment to:
