The Quality and Review Team currently have an opportunity for three full-time permanent vacancies in our well-established and experienced team of Independent Reviewing Officers.

You will be responsible for the independent chairing of all statutory review meetings of children subject to Child Protection Plans and children who are Looked After. You will also be required to chair Foster Care reviews, and other complex meetings. In addition you will contribute to a range of local and national performance monitoring and development agendas, helping to ensure those children most at risk achieve the best possible outcomes.

Commitment to helping maintain the existing excellent standards of the Quality and Review team, in meeting our statutory responsibilities is essential.

The successful candidates must be qualified Child Care Social Workers, have a minimum of 5 years post qualifying experience in child protection and some managerial/supervisory experience.

Thus, the successful applicant will be subject to a satisfactory DBS Enhanced level check.

Required qualifications: Final professional Social Care qualification to diploma level - Diploma in Social Work or equivalent. HCPC Registration.
