Teacher of History

St Thomas More Catholic School is a highly successful and high performing 11-18 Catholic comprehensive school with 1504 pupils on roll, with 320 in the sixth form. It is a Teaching School and was described as an "outstanding school" in its October 2013 OFSTED inspection. In summer 2016 80% of our year 11 students attained 5+ A*- C grades including English and Mathematics. Our year 13 also performed excellently with over half of the grades at A2 being A* to B.

The Governors' wish to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and committed Teacher of History to join this forward-looking department. You will be a strong classroom practitioner who has the ability to motivate young people of all abilities and you will be able to work well in a team. Applications are welcome from all faiths.
