We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic person to work in our respite/ crisis service for people with profound intellectual and multiple disabilities. You will work a shift system which includes days, evenings and weekends for which additional allowances are paid.

You will be joining an experienced and dedicated team to provide short stay breaks and emergency stays to people with profound intellectual and multiple disabilities. You will use person centred approaches to ensure that the needs and aspirations of the individuals are met appropriately.

We are looking to appoint someone who is willing and able to adopt new and innovative approaches and creative solutions in what can be a constantly changing environment. You will be expected to assist in all aspects of daily living including personal care, assistance with meals and must have some experience in working with people whose behaviour may be seen as challenging.
