The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work across the boundaries of Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Trust. You will be a member of a friendly, highly successful, forward thinking and supportive multi-disciplinary team who provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitation packages of care to male and female offenders who may have Learning Disability; Autism Spectrum; Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder, and reside within a range of secure inpatient environments and in the community.
Working within this specialist area of work will provide, where possible, the opportunity to be involved in 1:1 Therapeutic Interventions and Group Work. There will be further opportunities to be involved in the service development of the team.
The person we are looking for will:
• Be able to demonstrate post qualifying experience
• Be enthusiastic and motivated towards this specialist area of work
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have experience of managing a complex caseload
In return we will offer you team support and regular supervision plus the opportunity to undertake a range of training.
A registered Social Work Qualification is essential for this post.
