Highways Operations has an opportunity for an Estimating Technician on a 6 months temporary contract based at Meadowfield Depot, however you may be required to work at any Council workplace within County Durham.
The successful applicant must have experience of working in a civil engineering commercial environment and be qualified to NVQ 2.
Qualification: • 4 GCSEs grades A-C or NVQ Level 2
The postholder will assist with the preparation of estimates and tender submissions, through the obtaining of price information relating to materials and sub-contractors via electronic procurement and tender enquiries, and maintain the estimating enquiries database.
