North Tyneside Early Years and School Improvement Service are seeking to appoint a 0.4 Music Adviser to provide advice, support and challenge to schools across the secondary and post 16 phases. You will join a highly regarded team of school improvement professionals that support educational settings within and beyond North Tyneside on all aspects of learning, teaching and leadership.

We are looking for an outstanding teacher with leadership experience who has the skills to provide high quality training and advice to school leaders and music teachers in order to raise standards and narrow gaps in achievement. The ability to work with a diverse range of external providers is essential.

This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity from 1 September 2017 - 31 July 2018. Previous applicants need not re-apply as they will be automatically re-considered.
