We are recruiting resource workers who have appropriate experience and who can provide direct care and support to children with disabilities. The successful applicant will be based at Gleneagles Resource Centre, which provides a short break service for children and young people with a disability and provides support to children attending groups or accessing community facilities
Applicants must:
• Have the ability to relate to children and young people and their families
• Have some experience of working with children
• Have an understanding of child development
• Have a QCF or NVQ Level 3 in Care or be willing to work towards achieving this qualification
• Be enthusiastic and fast thinking
You will also be required to work unsocial hours as most work is carried out during the evening, weekends, overnight, early mornings and throughout school holidays.
