First Class Supply are working with a number of schools based in Gateshead, Newcastle, Sunderland and Northumberland who are looking to appoint caretakers to work on both a short and long term basis.
To apply for these posts you must have previous experience in a similar role.
Duties include:-
• Assisting with security and access of the school, opening and closing of the school
• holding and keeping safe the school keys
• general maintenance of school property
• arranging appropriate maintenance by qualified trades people
• undertaking initial checks and inspections
• undertaking minor or temporary repairs and maintenance
• litter picking
• clearing any accidental spillages
• taking delivery and arranging for the storage of materials in the appropriate place.
