We are seeking to appoint to our rapidly improving school, a  skilled and experienced Behaviour Support Manager with proven experience of working successfully with vulnerable pupils of all abilities to lead our Abbey provision.

The successful candidate will coordinate provision and intervention for vulnerable and SEN pupils in the abbey area. This person will be responsible for individual bespoke plans being written to help reintegrate pupils back into mainstream lessons. Liaison with families, staff and external agencies will also be crucial to the role.

The ideal candidate will support the schools continued drive for improvement, so that pupils can experience a ‘World Class’ education within a Christian context. The role will involve liasing with and supporting teaching staff to access and provide particular support to targeted pupils, identifying pupil needs and undertaking initial assessments as well as monitoring the implementation of plans and report on progress achieved to the SENDco.

We are looking someone who can motivate and influence and who:
  • Has experience of working with vulnerable pupils
  • Demands high expectations for all learners
  • Effectively manages own behaviour and relationships
