Fixed Term contract until 31st May 2019
The Landscape Design Services Team within the Planning and Regeneration Service is seeking a Graduate Landscape Architect to assist in the design and delivery of the Council’s capital programme. Current workload includes city centre public realm projects, school ground improvements, sports provision and play areas.
You will join a progressive, friendly team that has gained recognition for its design skills through several award winning projects and is looking for opportunities to broaden its client base. Mentoring will be offered for those who are seeking to progress towards Chartership with the Landscape Institute.
The Team works closely with colleagues in Development Management, Regeneration, Urban Design, Civil and Highways Engineering.
You will have a degree/post graduate qualification in landscape architecture, good AutoCAD skills and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
Candidates should also be able to demonstrate initiative and customer care, and be capable of negotiating effectively.
The post is temporary for a two year period.
