The Governing Body of Shanklea Primary School are seeking to appoint an Assistant Cook to work as part of our catering team. You will be working as a key member in a team of four.
Your main duties will involve supporting the Catering Manager in preparation, cooking and service of food and beverages accommodating any special dietary requirements and following agreed menus.
Your role will involve general kitchen duties.
We are looking for someone who works hard, enjoys being part of a team and can provide service with a smile.
This post is a permanent contract working 17.5 hours per week, term time plus 4 additional days for cleaning or training purpose.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced criminal records check is required for this post.
