Summer Holiday Relief Assistant
37 hours per week
(Various posts available between June and September)
North Tyneside Council is looking to appoint a number of enthusiastic and flexible temporary Assistants to cover front-line duties in Libraries and Community Centres over the Summer Holiday period. You must be committed to providing a high quality service to our customers.
Duties include physical management of library stock, re-shelving returned items, setting up rooms for events / activities, a wide range of clerical routines, reception and basic enquiry work and use of the Council and libraries computer system. You must be committed to providing a high quality service to customers of all ages, and should also possess good inter-personal and ICT skills. Some weekend and evening work will be required.
You would be expected to be able to work for 8 consecutive weeks within the time period stated.
