*This post attracts the Real Living Wage supplement. In addition to the hourly rate, this post will receive the Real Living Wage supplement to bring the hourly rate up to a minimum of £12.00 per hour.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person Domestic to work at Byker Lodge Resource Centre and Crisis service.
The successful candidate would be required to work as part of a team working with adults who have dementia or cognitive impairment who are experiencing a crisis or coming out of hospital whose behaviour may challenge.
You will be expected to assist in all aspects of ensuring the service meets key hygiene and health and safety requirements and you should have some experience in working with people whose behaviour may be seen as challenging.
We will provide regular support, structured supervision and appraisal. In addition, we offer training to meet national standards.
You will be expected to work some weekends as part of your rota pattern.
