Are you or have you previously worked in Adult or Children’s Social Care with experience of direct payments?
About the Role:
To support the development, delivery, continuous improvement implementation and monitoring of the Direct Payments across Children’s Services.
Facilitate and support people with the set up and with the financial administration of their Direct Payments care package.
Liaise with managers, social workers, external agencies and other professionals to ensure the person receives a timely and effective service.
You will undertake regular audits of direct payments and report any inaccuracies or concerns to the appropriate manager and highlight best practice and areas for improvements.
Support the development of the Personal Assistant Market and attend promotional events where required.
About You:
You will have experience of working a in a customer service environment, working with groups of or individuals who use health and social care services within the community.
You will have knowledge of direct payments to include set ups, Personal assistant market and drivers and the importance of audits.
You provide support to all team members, be an effective communicator and lead by example.
To support the management team to identify, implement and embed change and to ensure that service delivery is within given time frames.
You will have experience of supporting continuous improvement, best value, and quality within services by challenging existing practice to ensure it meets with local, national, professional and regulatory standards.
