The governors of Spittal Community First School are seeking to appoint a hardworking and enthusiastic Caretaker who will take pride in the presentation and upkeep of our school.

To start 11/04/2025, the role will be fixed term until 31/08/26
The role is 33.5hrs per week, all year contract.

The role will involve the management and upkeep of the school site, including two buildings and the associated grounds, as well as overseeing the work of our small team of cleaners.

The role would be particularly suited to someone who has experience of facilities management, although we would be fully prepared to train those new to the role. Applicants should have a considerable knowledge of a broad range of practical tasks.
There is no on-site accommodation option available with this post.
Other duties appropriate to the nature, level and grade of the post are required.
Visits to our school are encouraged. Please telephone to make an appointment with the Headteacher.
