The Role:

This is an exciting time to be joining the Traffic Signals team as we work to deliver major transport improvement schemes not just in Newcastle, but also working with partners in the other northeast local authorities.
The successful post holder will have a proven track record and recent experience of leading staff on the implementation, management and delivery of traffic signals schemes and programmes. A natural leader interested in staff wellbeing, you will actively build relationships and engage with key stakeholders and customers, and encourage innovative service delivery methods and improvements in order to meet service and financial objectives. You will have experience of managing contractual levels of performance, ensuring we continue to meet all operational requirements whilst maintaining a healthy, safe and secure working environment.
