We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced individual to work across South Tyneside as part of our Early Help Team.
 
The postholder will work across South Tyneside facilitating the day-to-day management of Early Help Family Workers, ensuring that the quality of work undertaken is of a consistently high standard and the voice of the family and the child are central to all early help processes.
 
The role will ensure that activities are delivered and designed to improve outcomes for children, young people and families by reducing inequalities for those with the greatest need working collaboratively with a range of partners such as education, health, voluntary sector and social work colleagues.
 
You will have significant experience and knowledge of early help practice, statutory social work intervention, or other expertise in working holistically with children and families. You will be able to model exceptional practice in whole family work and be able to demonstrate advanced skills as a lead professional working purposefully with family members and professional stakeholders.
 
You will have a good working understanding of how to work with schools and families to promote school attendance and inclusion. You will be able to demonstrate clear leaderships skills, the ability to supervise and quality assure the practice of others and take a lead in managing projects related to service development.
