What does Reablement Offer
It’s an exciting time to join us in Adult Social Care and Prevention with our aim of home first. We want to support people to achieve their goals and aspirations, to assist them to remain independent at home, consider the use of technology as well as what resources are in their local communities. 
 
What about the Role?
As the Resource Manager you will need to register with the Care Quality Commission as this is a regulated service and will be responsible for leading the Reablement team in providing the very highest standards of support to people to optimise their individual functioning and identity within their home, to maximise their ability to remain independent.

The role covers the Community Support teams across the city, Home First managing hospital discharges and the Responsive team who visit people within 24 hours of them making contact with Adult Social CarePoint to prevent an admission to hospital or any other emergency care.
 
Partnerships are crucial and the Resource Manager will have the ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships with healthcare, voluntary and community sector as well as Council Assessment (Social Work) colleagues to ensure that the service is safe and of high quality.  The Resource Manager will ensure the service’s operations align with Corporate objectives and comply with legislative requirements.
