Newcastle City Council are looking to appoint a Repairs and Construction Manager within the Electrical Section of Construction Services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of related Electrical services to Newcastle City Council’s property stock and external clients ensuring effective operational management and delivery of defined quality standards in accordance with client requirements.
You will be expected to lead a team ensuring effective delivery of the service, whilst maximising efficiencies of resources against programmes through productivity monitoring and absence management protocols in accordance with service guidelines.
You would be responsible for the delivery of a variety of schemes such as: -
New build housing schemes
Electrical servicing programmes
Electrical installations, alterations and repairs within schools and public buildings
Electrical alterations in connection with building extensions and modifications
Electrical rewires covering all aspects of the trade
Installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems
