We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Community Safety Development Officer to work within the Community Safety Team. The focus of this role is to work with partners to support community cohesion and address violence against women and girls.
You should have a good understanding of the types of issues that affect communities as well as an understanding of violence against women and girls.
The role will involve working with partner agencies to identify and manage strategies to understand community issues, overseeing the development and implementation of interventions and supporting services, projects and activities being delivered. 
Candidates should have experience of communicating and engaging with a broad range of partners across sectors, working in partnership to develop and deliver projects and/or interventions, and establish boards and/or community forums as well as an understanding of project and performance management.
