Overview of the role

Fixed Term Contract to July 2025
 
We are seeking an excellent educator to join our teaching staff in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. We are looking to appoint an experienced Primary teacher or an enthusiastic ECT, delivering the foundation phase curriculum whilst planning, preparing and teaching lessons; an understanding of classroom management, curriculum knowledge and delivery of feedback is key.
 
Key requirements
 
  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
  • Passion and commitment for inspiring through teaching and learning
  • Solid knowledge of the foundation phase in line with the relevant curriculum
  • The ability to build on and develop existing best practice knowledge
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Can support and promote our distinctive Catholic ethos and values
  • Has high expectations of children's attainment and behaviour
