You will provide high quality person centred support to adults accessing day opportunities to enable them to achieve their goals, maximise their independence and maintain meaningful lives in their community.
Phab Base provides care and support for adults with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities). The post holder must be enthusiastic, forward thinking and able to communicate effectively, encourage position changes with moving and handling equipment, follow risk assessments and SALT assessments. The post holder must be willing to participate in activities, this may include swimming sessions, local walks, rebound therapy and supporting people on adapted bikes. The post holder must be able to use own initiative and be willing to undertake any training relevant to the job role.
