We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in our additional Resource Base. The Resource Base is for pupils identified as having a primary need in Social, Emotional and Mental Health. There will be a EYS/KS1 class and a KS2 class. Each class will have an experienced Teacher who will work as part of a team with the Teaching Assistants. You will have experience of working with children experiencing Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.
We are looking for candidates who:
- have experience of undertaking 1:1 support with identified pupils;
- have experience of working with children in small groups;
- have experience of working with young people with special educational needs, particularly Social, Emotional and Mental Health;
- can be a committed team player;
- have the ability to engage and inspire pupils;
- can be committed to Lord Blyton's ethos of high expectations.
